Feedback Of Rough Cut

Above is a picture of all of the feedback that we recieved in regards to the rough cut of the video that we have produced. Some of the comments was positive and some negative, and it is essential that we gain feedback all the way through our project so as we can keep or improve certian pieces of our work. Some of the feedback is generalised below;

-MIMING SLIGHTLY OUT OF SYNC

-MORE LINKS WITH VISUALS & LYRICS
    -SPED UP SHOTS NOT NECESSARY
  -SHOTS TOO LONG AT START OF VIDEO
  -MODEL LOOKED A BIT BORED/LACKED ENTHUSIASM
  -AT 2:26,2:34 AND 2:50, THE SHOT IS TOO DARK
  -BLANK SCREEN IN BETWEEN SOME SHOTS
  -SOME SHOTS WERE TOO REPETITIVE

Something that we also noticed as a group was the lack of colour in the video. It all seems a bit too gloomy so it would be an idea to get Glenn to wear something instead of a black coat.

The scrolling comments are the more negative comments towards our video. Some of them we already knew as a group, such as the darker shots and where the miming is slightly out of place. There was some positive feedback as well that we have taken on board. This feedback included:
  • Good varied shots;
  • Most cuts are consistent with the beat;
  • Some liked the intro of the video;
  • Good setting;
  • Good camera work with pans and zooms;
  • Mise-en-scene was also noted as being good with the guitar;
  • The ending had the biggest impact when it fades out after being under-cranked.
